Top 10 Dates Movies Guaranteed to Make Your Girl Friend Laugh Movie night is a staple when it comes to dating. What couple hasn’t spent a relaxing night at the theater (or at their home theater)? It’s a great way to spend some time together with out having to be “on” the whole date. As long as you select a date movie that can do the being “on” for you, you’re good to go. Here’s my hand (girl-hand) selected list of classic date movies that will have your girlfriend smiling and laughing in no time. Movie night can even be a budget date; all you need is some sort of home theater (fancy way of saying T.V. and DVD player), a blockbuster membership, and some prime cuddling skills. That’s right boys, it’s a $6.00 date and I’m giving you a fool proof rental list to work from. # 10 The Princess Bride I’ll admit not the funniest movie on our nifty list, but it’s playfully romantic, and it’s a classic that you’ve both most likely seen and loved before (which means if you where to have moments of distraction you could easily figure out the plot twists you’ve missed, for what ever reason). # 9 Shrek It’s cute, it’s romantic, and the princess falls in love with a farting Ogre (next to Shrek your looking like prince charming). # 8 Date Movie Yes I know this one is a little obvious. # 7 Mail Rats Okay so you might have to dig out your VHS to watch your old copy of this one. # 6 How to Lose a Guy in 10 days This movie made the list for countless reasons, it’s cute funny, it has Mathew McConaughey on a motorcycle, it has Mathew McConaughey in a suit, it has Mathew McConaughey being romantic, …. (Well you get the idea) and for the boys Kate Hudson. # 5 Sweet Home Alabama It’s the perfect dates movie as long as you’re not about to marry a girl who’s from a small town and had one hell of a first love there. # 4 Office Space Perfect for watching with any girl who’s ever worked in an office. # 3 Meet the Parents Gaylord Focker’s experience meeting his girlfriend’s parents (her father is played by Robert DeNiro who is hilarious) is enough to get even the stiffest of dates giggling. # 2 Meet the Fockers Add one part Meet the Parents and top with one part Meet the Fockers for the perfect Date movie marathon. The credit for remembering Hitch, our #1 date movie guaranteed to make your girlfriend laugh, actually goes to my boyfriend (thanks) and immediately jumped to the top of the list. Hitch was by far the best 1st Date movie I’ve ever seen. If your looking for love, or to impress the lover you already have RENT HITCH, don’t forget it like I did.
